CEO's Message

I am extremely delighted about our annual results for 2010, published recently. Whilst it is a real pleasure to report on another very successful year for BUCK PRESS and to be confident that we are better placed than many companies, clearly we are not immune to the current economic challenges. Undoubtedly, some of our markets are tough, but our focus on government vis-a-vi the Private Sector and on delivering efficient services is what underpins my confidence that together we shall not just weather the storm but actually continue to make progress.

Our strategy, devised and implemented over a number of years, is designed to give us breadth of markets and services and visibility of where our work will come from several years into the future, operating as The Trusted Partner. We have a solid position in Ghana based on long-term partnering relationships with major clients in both the public and private sectors. And this is enhanced by the breadth of our capabilities, right from designing to finishing.

Over the next few years we anticipate a sustained upward trend in the demand for outsourcing of services and working within long-term relationships, both areas where we are able to deliver real value for money and help our customers drive cost from their own businesses.
BUCK Press’s commitment to value and long-term partnering is also recognized in other West African Countries where we continue to work on some fascinating and impressive projects in printing that continue to offer growth opportunities.

Through our ‘Delivering Growth Together Strategy ‘all of these developments have enormous potential for us to share opportunities and ensure we retain more business within  and give less of it away to competitors.

Undoubtedly, the next year or two will be a challenge. However, by working together and by continuing with our long-term partnering culture and our ability to make a real difference to our clients’ business, it is a challenge we can rise to and overcome.
